Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
Payment may be made as follows:
Credit/Debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Delta. You will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. Then you will be taken to our Merchant Services website to enter your credit card details on their secure server. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. If an order is cancelled your credit card authorisation will be voided and no money will be taken from the card.
Credit card details sent separately e.g. faxed or phoned.
By cheque made payable to Pure Lighting UK Ltd. Your order will be not dispatched until the cheque is cleared.
The Product
- All products conform to British and EN standards.
- All products manufactured by vetted sources in accordance with current legislation at time of purchase.
- Dimensions and wattages are given as a guide only to assist the consumer and therefore do not constitute a legally binding contract.
- Description and finishes are given as a guide only to assist the consumer and therefore do not constitute a legally binding contract.
- Height measurements are provided excluding chain and ceiling fixture where applicable, as there is a variable involved.
- Bulbs are not included with products unless otherwise stated.
- Pure Lighting Limited reserves the right to alter or amend the specifications and/or prices of the products offered for sale or withdraw them completely without prior notice.
- All prices are shown inclusive of UK VAT at 17.5%.
Shipping And Handling
All orders over the value of £70.00 or more incl. V A T are despatched to Great Britain mainland free using our 48 hour delivery service. Orders of less than £70.00 will incur a £7.99 delivery charge. The correct carriage charge will be calculated at checkout.
Delivery Schedule
We process your order immediately.
Stock items will be dispatched the same day providing the order is received before 12.00pm using our 24 or 48 hour delivery service depending on what you have opted for. You will be advised of your Parcel Tracking Number so you can track your own Parcel. All Parcels are sent using Royal Mail Parcel Force. Our usual hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5.00 pm. All orders are dispatched on a 'next working day' basis.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
You will not be charged until the goods are dispatched.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is included. In line with regulations there is no VAT charge for orders originating from the Channel Isles. The correct VAT will be calculated at checkout.
Credit Card Security
For 100% security and customer flexibility we use Lloyds TSB Merchant Services as well as World pay and Paypal to process your credit/debit card details. After placing your order you will be taken to their website to enter your card details. We do not hold these details nor at any time do we see them. This gives you complete confidence that you are purchasing from a totally secure website.
Returns and Warranty
Notification of any goods received faulty or incorrect must be made in writing either by email, fax or post to Pure Lighting within 5 days of receipt. Arrangements for the collection of faulty or incorrect goods will be made by Pure Lighting. An order may be cancelled up to 5 days from the day after date of receipt. Prior notification must be made in writing either by email, fax or post to Pure Lighting. We will then contact you for your credit card details and refund your credit card accordingly. All of our products carry a 12 months replacement warranty. Where replacement is not available, a refund will be offered.
If you are unhappy with any of our products or service please contact us in writing by email, fax or post. All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days and treated with the utmost confidentiality. Unsuitable items can only be accepted back for a refund providing that they have not been used or installed. They should be returned with the original packaging to ensure the product is not damaged on the return journey. The cost of returning unsuitable goods is at the expense of the customer.
The above do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
